On August 20, the 22nd China-ASEAN Expo Organizing Committee meeting was held in Beijing. The regional chairman attended the meeting and delivered a speech. He stated that under the guidance of national ministries including the Ministry of Commerce, efforts will focus on highlighting AI features to create an international cooperation hub for artificial intelligence facing ASEAN; solidifying the role of enterprises as the main actors to help businesses seek opportunities and expand markets; expanding economic and trade effectiveness by deepening supply-demand alignment around hot topics such as new productive forces and cross-border industrial supply chains; and firmly maintaining security measures to ensure the expo is successful, innovative, and outstanding, achieving upgraded development and further amplifying the role of the “Nanning Channel”.
China-ASEAN Expo

The Nanning Channel is a modern waterway in Guangxi, China, constructed in the 20th century to facilitate urban water transport and flood control. It connects to the Yong River and is a functional part of the city’s infrastructure rather than a historic site.
