The “Velobike” rental service has become available in the “Moscow Metro” app. It was announced that the service has been integrated into the app to make renting bicycles even simpler and more convenient for residents and guests of the capital.
“We continue to develop a unified digital transport ecosystem. Today, the “Velobike” fleet has over 9,000 bicycles and 300 electric scooters. To make trips even safer, we raised the rental age to 18, equipped all city rental vehicles with license plates, and enhanced information about traffic rules. To increase the service’s accessibility, we integrated it into the “Moscow Metro” app. This will make renting bicycles even simpler and more convenient for residents and guests of the capital,” it was noted.
The bike rental is available in the “Services” section of the passenger’s personal account, where you can find the nearest bicycle or parking spot on the map, check the battery level, and rent a bicycle with just a few clicks.
