Russia has launched a service for flight check-in and baggage drop directly at hotels for the first time. Travelers will be able to receive boarding passes, hand over their suitcases, and save time before leaving the hotel.

The service was launched by Sochi Airport in partnership with the Krasnaya Polyana mountain resort.

To use the service, a guest must present their passport and flight details at a dedicated counter in the hotel. They are then checked in through an integrated system and issued a boarding pass. Next, the baggage is weighed, tagged with the airline’s label, and sealed. To ensure security, all operations are performed by accredited specialists with access to aviation check-in and tagging systems. Each piece of luggage is accompanied by a digital history of its movements: photos, time, seals, and responsible personnel.

All flight information can be found on a special departure board.
