Temporary restrictions on receiving and dispatching aircraft at the resort’s air harbor were in effect for 2.5 hours during the night of August 30.

During this time, four aircraft diverted to alternate airfields. These included SU-2953 Chelyabinsk – Sochi, SU-1074 Sheremetyevo – Sochi, UT-517 Nizhnevartovsk – Sochi, and N4 524 Yekaterinburg – Sochi.

Restrictions were in place at the resort’s air harbor. A schedule is currently being formed for the arrival and servicing of all flights, accounting for the changes. Over the next two days, possible delays, cancellations, or consolidations of flights may occur. According to the online board at 9:25 on August 30, there were 42 flights scheduled for departure and arrival at Sochi Airport.
