Parental awareness of child nutrition quality continues to rise. However, amidst the variety of available products, understanding the origin of raw materials, main ingredients, and production processes still requires more attention.
This situation is important as Indonesia still faces several child health challenges, including stunting, dental caries, and obesity risks. Therefore, the quality of base ingredients and balanced nutritional composition are considered crucial in supporting optimal child growth and development.
Addressing this need, FEIHE International together with MAKUKU officially introduced AceKid to the Indonesian market through a launch event titled “Let’s Witness Together, a New Fresh Standard from AceKid” held in Jakarta.
The founder and CEO of FEIHE International stated that Indonesia is a strategic market for AceKid. According to him, the product’s presence is part of the company’s commitment to providing high-quality and transparent child nutrition options.
“We want to bring the same standards applied in developed countries because every child deserves better nutrition. Through AceKid, we present a product that not only prioritizes quality but also transparency regarding composition, raw material sources, and production processes,” he said.
AceKid emphasizes three main aspects in its formulation. First, it uses natural whole milk or fresh milk as the primary base ingredient, sourced from traceable origins. Second, it applies a one-step fresh processing system to help maintain raw material quality until it reaches consumers.
Third, the product is formulated without added sucrose, maltodextrin, corn syrup, or synthetic flavors.
A professor of Child Health at the University of Indonesia and Consultant for Growth and Development in Social Pediatrics at FKUI-RSCM noted that parents need to be more careful when reading child nutrition product labels.
According to her, many parents focus more on additional ingredients like DHA, AHA, Omega-3, and Omega-6, without paying attention to the main composition, which constitutes the largest portion of the product.
“The first item in the ingredient list indicates the component with the highest quantity. Therefore, it is important for parents to understand the source of ingredients, production processes, and the presence of added sugars or sweeteners before choosing a nutrition product for their child,” she said.
From a product development perspective, AceKid was created through FEIHE’s research ecosystem covering the entire production chain, from raw materials to consumer benefits.
A senior scientist at FEIHE International explained that the company currently runs over 40 national research programs and has produced 117 SCI-indexed scientific publications. Additionally, FEIHE holds 847 patents, has completed 12 clinical trials, and contributed to the development of 66 industry standards.
In its research activities, FEIHE collaborates with various international institutions, including Harvard Medical School, Peking University, and Tsinghua University.
“A scientific foundation is a key part of our product development. Every innovation we present is based on data, research, and sustainable quality standards,” the scientist said.
At its launch in Indonesia, AceKid also received the Top Innovation Choice Award 2026 in the category “AceKid Made from Natural Whole Milk with Traceable Milk Sources.” This award was given for product innovation that emphasizes raw material transparency, unique formulation, and benefits offered to Indonesian families.
On the same occasion, AceKid introduced Denny Sumargo and Arnold Poernomo as brand ambassadors. Both were chosen as they are considered to represent modern parents who actively seek information and deeply understand their children’s nutritional needs.
As part of the ecosystem that also includes MAKUKU, AceKid carries the vision of supporting infant and child growth through a 360-degree healthy growth protection approach. Beyond offering nutrition products, the company also aims to provide relevant education for Indonesian families.
AceKid also reaffirms its support for breastfeeding as the best source of nutrition for infants, especially in early life. The use of supplementary nutrition products should still be tailored to the child’s needs and consulted with healthcare professionals to ensure proper and age-appropriate nutritional fulfillment.
