Metro Bekasi Police arrested and immediately detained N (47), a man suspected of committing acts in West Cikarang, Bekasi Regency, West Java. Police confirmed that the case file processing for N has been completed.

“Metro Bekasi Police have handled and completed the investigation process and detained the suspect in the alleged criminal act of sexual abuse against a minor in the West Cikarang area, Bekasi Regency,” said a statement.

It was explained that N’s case file has been submitted to the public prosecutor. Thus, N will soon face trial to answer for his actions.

“Currently, the case has proceeded to the documentation stage for further legal proceedings in accordance with applicable regulations,” the statement clarified.

In another statement, it was said the victim was abused by N on Saturday, May 23. The victim’s family then reported the incident to the police on Tuesday, June 2.

The day after the report was received, the suspect was immediately arrested. The suspect resides in West Cikarang according to his identity.

“On June 3, 2026, at approximately 4:00 PM WIB, investigators arrested the individual. The suspect, with initials N, resides in the West Cikarang area,” the statement said.

It was explained that N was immediately arrested after investigators from the PPA Unit of the Metro Bekasi Police Criminal Investigation Division found preliminary evidence of the acts committed by the perpetrator against the victim. Based on this evidence, police immediately named N as a suspect.

“From the initial investigation, indications were found that strengthened the incident, so the case was elevated to the investigation stage,” the statement said.

It was explained that the authorities obtained evidence after examining several witnesses and the victim, as well as obtaining a medical examination. From this evidence, they then conducted a case review and named N as a suspect.

“Actions included clarifying witnesses and the victim, medical examination through a forensic report, and case review,” the statement explained.

“The suspect has been secured and detained for further legal proceedings,” it added.

West Cikarang
