On August 10, the Beijing Daxing International Airport Air Logistics Industry Development Conference was held in Beijing, hosted by the Joint Management Committee of the Beijing Daxing International Airport Economic Zone. The event, themed “Connecting the Airport, Delivering Goods Globally,” brought together government agencies, international organizations, and leading global aviation logistics companies to promote high-quality development of air logistics in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
The director of the Joint Management Committee stated that the economic zone will focus on breakthroughs in areas such as air express delivery, cold chain logistics, integrated bonded services, logistics finance, and supply chain management.
Amid deeper regional integration, policy innovations have achieved significant progress. With support from regulatory and customs authorities, Daxing Airport’s bonded zone has implemented a rapid-response mechanism for imported pharmaceuticals, enabling customs clearance, sampling, and record-filing within 24 hours. This provides crucial support for pharmaceutical logistics development in the airport economic zone.
During the conference, the Joint Management Committee and seven other organizations jointly launched an initiative to advance high-quality air logistics development. The initiative aims to optimize resource allocation among government agencies, airports, airlines, and other stakeholders, enhancing collaboration and competitiveness in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei aviation logistics sector.
