PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, or BRI, continues to strengthen its digital service transformation to provide easier banking access for Indonesians, including those living abroad.

Through the super app BRImo, the registration process is now simpler, faster, and more flexible, as it can be done anytime and anywhere.

Not only accessible domestically, BRImo registration is now also available for Indonesians living overseas. This innovation is part of BRI’s commitment to delivering inclusive digital financial services that reach a wider range of customer needs.

With a practical registration process, prospective users only need to download the BRImo app and follow a few simple steps. Users can select the “Register Now” menu, enter their phone number with the country code and an active email for OTP verification, then proceed to verify their identity using an e-ID card and facial verification according to the app’s instructions.

Additionally, users can choose a BRI branch office to manage their account, create a username and password, and set a BRImo PIN for transaction security. Once the registration process is complete, BRImo can be used immediately to support various digital banking transaction needs.

BRI’s Corporate Secretary, Dhanny, stated that the development of BRImo registration services extending abroad is a strategic move by the company to expand digital service access for Indonesians in various countries.

“BRI remains committed to providing digital services that are easily accessible, secure, and relevant to people’s needs. The presence of the BRImo registration feature from abroad is a manifestation of BRI’s digital transformation to offer banking transaction convenience for Indonesian customers wherever they are,” said Dhanny.

Currently, BRImo registration services from abroad are available in 15 countries: Indonesia, Hong Kong, Japan, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Kuwait, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, Germany, United States, Timor-Leste, Brunei Darussalam, and Australia.

In line with the growing public demand for digital services, BRImo continues to record positive growth. As of the first quarter of 2026, the number of BRImo super app users reached 47.8 million, growing 18.6% year-on-year (YoY). Meanwhile, BRImo transaction volume reached IDR 2,042.2 trillion, increasing 29.4% YoY compared to the same period the previous year. This achievement further solidifies BRImo’s position as a leading digital platform for daily transaction needs.

BRImo itself continues to offer various features that support customers’ financial needs, ranging from transfers, bill payments, digital product purchases, investments, to cross-border transactions.

Through the strengthening of this digital ecosystem, BRI hopes to continuously enhance customer transaction convenience and experience while expanding Indonesia’s digital financial inclusion sustainably.

With registration now increasingly practical and accessible across countries, BRImo is expected to become a digital financial solution that supports the mobility of modern society and unlimited transaction needs.
