Grand Opening Dialogue Music, an international-standard music school and musical instrument store at Ruko Hampton Avenue, Gading Serpong, Pagedangan, Tangerang Regency, Monday, June 1, 2026.
Dialogue Music, an international-standard music school and musical instrument store, has now opened at Ruko Hampton Avenue, Gading Serpong, Pagedangan, Tangerang Regency.
Officially established on April 21, 2026, this first branch brings a fresh concept that sets it apart from conventional music schools.
International Curriculum
The owner and head of Dialogue Music stated that the school implements three comprehensive learning pathways to accommodate various student interests.
For the classical pathway, Dialogue Music adopts the ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) curriculum from the UK, focusing on instruments such as piano, classical guitar, wind instruments, and orchestra.
For contemporary instruments like electric guitar, bass, and drums, the Rockschool curriculum is used. Additionally, a hobby program with internal certification is available.
“We conduct evaluations every three months. Students not only learn to play instruments but are also taught to perform on stage, set up equipment, and understand the functions and specifications of the musical gear they use,” he said during the grand opening on Monday, June 1, 2026.
He gave an example: electric guitar students are trained to understand the technical differences between guitar components, such as neck and bridge pickups, as well as amplifier characteristics.
Currently, Dialogue Music has around 50 registered students guided by 20 professional instructors. To enhance learning quality, management is also exploring collaborations with several national musicians.
“For online vocal classes, there is interest from Ojan. For guitar classes, we are also exploring collaborations with musicians like Ardian and Ical from Last Child. This is still in the concept discussion stage,” he added.
For those interested, course fees at Dialogue Music School start from IDR 600,000 to IDR 1.5 million per month, depending on the chosen class duration (30, 45, or 60 minutes) with a frequency of once per week.
Special intensive programs, such as Summer School, are also available.
Offering Beginner to Premium Musical Instruments
On the retail side, the Head Store of Dialogue Music explained that their music store collaborates with two of the largest musical instrument distributors in Indonesia: PT Citra Intirama and Swee Lee.
This collaboration brings various legendary global brands such as Gibson, Fender, Pearl, Tama, and many more.
The collection is very comprehensive, ranging from entry-level for beginners to premium classes.
Available instruments include guitars (electric, acoustic, classical), drums (acoustic, electric), pianos (digital, upright, up to baby grand pianos), keyboards, violins, wind instruments, and supporting accessories.
“Our advantage is that we provide instruments that are truly suitable and high-quality for the learning process. When prospective students come for a trial, they can directly try the available instruments,” he said.
He also emphasized the importance of this physical store as an educational tool to prevent people from being deceived by counterfeit products when buying online.
“In our experience, many students buy instruments online without guidance and end up with counterfeit products or items of unsuitable quality. Here, we provide education and proper recommendations before they make a purchase,” he added.
Empowering Local Musicians and Products
Interestingly, he noted that many foreign-brand instruments they sell are actually produced directly in Indonesia. They are also open to future collaborations with local musical instrument manufacturers.
This is also part of an effort to support the community economic empowerment program promoted by the Ministry of SMEs.
“Amid challenging economic conditions, we want to be a platform for musicians, including domestic musical instrument producers,” he concluded.
