In the town of Nanporo, Sorachi, a training exercise was conducted by police and other agencies, assuming a suspicious person with a knife appeared at an indoor facility for children.

“Knife, knife! Hey, drop the weapon!”

The training was carried out under the scenario that a murder threat email was sent to the indoor play facility “Hareppa” in Nanporo Town, and subsequently, a suspicious person with a knife appeared in the vicinity.

Additionally, in coordination with the fire department, responses to suspicious objects and injured individuals were confirmed.

(A user who participated in the training) “Since they are training thoroughly, I feel I can let my children play here with peace of mind.”

(Chief of the Security Division, Kuriyama Police Station) “There are also crimes targeting children, so we want to continue training at such facilities in the future.”

The police stated they intend to continue training and strengthen cooperation with facilities and the fire department.
