The NHK morning drama series scheduled to air in spring of the year after next (2028) has been decided as “Hon no Mokichi,” a story about a couple modeled after the poet Saito Mokichi and his wife Teruko. Yuumi Kawai will play the heroine, and the script will be written by Kankuro Kudo.
