A sudden hailstorm hit southeastern Beijing, with hailstones mostly the size of blueberries.

On the afternoon of June 4, hail suddenly fell in parts of several districts in southeastern Beijing, including Tongzhou, Daxing, and Chaoyang. In Heizhuanghu, Chaoyang District, the hail lasted about 10 minutes, with hailstones the size of blueberries. In Tongzhou District, the hail quickly passed and the sky cleared up soon after.
