RADARBANDUNG.ID, CIANJUR – Thousands of Cibeber residents showed great enthusiasm in attending the Milangkala of the Hibar Art Studio, held alongside National Awakening Day. From afternoon until late at night, parents, teenagers, youth, and children eagerly participated in the most magnificent event ever held in Sukaraharja village.
The 21st anniversary celebration of the Hibar Art Studio in Cibeber, held at Pasir Munding Field in Sukaraharja Village, Cibeber District, Cianjur Regency, West Java, was attended by famous comedians from West Java such as Kang Inoi SOS, Ogi SOS, Aman-Amin, Ki Daus, Kang Anton, A. Dikdik, Kang Ohang, and Ceu Popon. Also present was talented dangdut singer from Subang, Novia Rozma.
Cibeber Subdistrict Head, Ardian Atoillah, expressed gratitude for the event. According to him, the community’s enthusiasm showed that Sundanese art and cultural traditions are still in demand, especially among youth, teenagers, and children. “Alhamdulillah, the response from the Cibeber community to attend this event is truly extraordinary. This proves that the community’s interest in Sundanese arts and culture in Cibeber is still very high,” he said.
He also stated that the Milangkala event of the Hibar Art Studio in Cibeber was also a form of thanksgiving because one of the cultural arts promoted as a representative from Cianjur, namely Ngarak Posong, became a major highlight in the recent Kirab Budaya Milangkala Tatar Sunda celebration. “So, high artistic and cultural values are already embedded in the community. That’s why whenever there are cultural procession events like this, the community’s enthusiasm is high, as we see now,” he said.
He noted that this Milangkala event of the Hibar Art Studio was the most magnificent compared to previous ones. “Usually, each art studio or group holds events too. But this one is the most magnificent with many guests. There are even celebrities. This might also be what attracts the community to eagerly come to this event,” he said.
He also expressed great gratitude for AQUA’s support in this event. “I am very pleased with AQUA’s contribution in reviving Sundanese arts and culture. In our area, AQUA is the first large company willing to support events like this,” he said.
Therefore, he hopes the collaboration with AQUA can continue in the future. “We hope the collaboration between AQUA and the Cibeber community can continue in the future, especially in supporting the arts and culture here,” he added.
The head of the Sukaraharja Village Youth Organization in Cibeber, Kang Iking, also welcomed this Milangkala event of the Hibar Art Studio. He said this very grand event also helped local MSMEs to sell around the event venue. “Because this is the first time such a big event has been held here. Usually, events are not as grand as this. At most, just cooking and eating together,” he said.
He also thanked AQUA for supporting this event. Moreover, according to him, this event aims to revive traditional Sundanese arts in the community, especially among children, teenagers, and youth. “I hope AQUA’s support is not just this once but can continue,” he said.
Met at the event area, Kang Ade, a Sukaraharja village resident who works as a farmer, also expressed his joy welcoming this event. “As a community, we are happy, joyful, and also support this event. Especially since this event is very lively and has celebrities,” he said.
As a parent, he strongly hopes that Sundanese art and cultural events can continue to be introduced
