The study results showed that every second borrower with a market mortgage regularly makes partially early repayments, and almost 10% have already fully closed the loan.
Meanwhile, mortgage clients with government support prefer not to overpay, accumulating free funds in deposits.
According to statistics, 45% of clients with a market mortgage in 2025 pay the mortgage three times faster than other borrowers in this segment.
On the contrary, clients with subsidized mortgages do not aim for quick repayment: only one in five makes additional payments this year, and the proportion of those who have fully closed the loan is close to zero.
“High deposit rates have made them an attractive alternative to market mortgages. Those who have already taken
