Although it officially began operations in early July 2025, the Thanh Liet Ward Cultural, Information, and Sports Center Library has quickly become a familiar destination for many residents, especially children and teenagers during the summer.

In just the first month, the library welcomed hundreds of visitors who came to read books, newspapers, and other materials.

With modern facilities, a well-organized layout, and a diverse collection—ranging from children’s stories and life skills books to reference materials and current affairs newspapers—the library has already made a noticeable impact in promoting a reading culture within the community.

A third-grade student from Chu Van An Primary School shared: “I really enjoy coming to the library because there are so many interesting books and a quiet atmosphere. Every visit is an opportunity to discover something new.”

Not only does the library serve children, but it also attracts many elderly visitors who come to read newspapers and expand their knowledge. A resident from Van Village said: “I’m very happy that our ward has such a library. Every morning, I stop by to read a few newspapers and stay updated on the news. I hope the library continues to promote the value of reading and reaches even more people in the area.”

The library’s opening during the summer has effectively met the needs of children for learning, entertainment, and skill development while also providing a healthy cultural space for local residents. This contributes to building a rich, civilized, and modern community life.
