Hyderabad: A worker died after falling from a coconut tree in the Shamshabad police station area on the outskirts of the city. Police said that K. Srinivas (38), a resident of Ghansimiyaguda, Shamshabad, was working as a laborer.

On May 6, he was climbing a coconut tree in the mango orchard of Kantilal, a resident of Peddashapur Tanda, to pluck coconuts. During this, he lost his balance and fell from the tree. Seriously injured, Srinivas was admitted to Osmania Hospital, where he died last night during treatment.
