The National Center of Meteorology warned of thunderstorms accompanied by hail and strong winds causing dust storms today in parts of the Najran, Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions.

The center explained that the weather condition extends to the eastern parts of Madinah, as well as parts of the Riyadh region and the southern areas of the Eastern Province. Surface winds are also active in the coastal areas of Makkah, leading to near-zero horizontal visibility along the road connecting to Jazan.

The General Directorate of Civil Defense urged caution due to the continued thunderstorms in most regions of the Kingdom until next Tuesday.

Madinah
