The fourth edition of the ‘Atiqa Dates Season has launched under the slogan “From Our Land,” aiming to highlight the pioneering status of dates in the Kingdom, which exports its products to more than 113 countries and contributes around 12% of the agricultural GDP.

Additionally, the ‘Atiqa auction activities have commenced across 16 bidding tracks, along with an e-store for those looking to purchase and reach a wider segment of customers and enthusiasts, with easy delivery services.
The ‘Atiqa Dates Season, held at the Agricultural Seasons Hall in the central ‘Atiqa market in Riyadh, is one of the initiatives by Riyadh Development Company, with participation from the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, the National Center for Palms and Dates, and support from the Riyadh Region Municipality as the enabling partner for the season, alongside the Culinary Arts Commission and the Saudi Tourism Authority represented by “Saudi Spirit.”
The season spans 4 months, coinciding with the dates and lambs harvesting seasons, making it the longest seasonal dates market in the Kingdom and a gathering point for date production from various regions. It also serves as a platform connecting traders, farmers, and consumers, embodying a model of institutional integration in supporting the dates sector and activating it as a developmental and economic tool.
The season’s activities are held across an area exceeding 10,000 m², including an air-conditioned hall spanning 2,500 m², enabling over 65 traders and farmers to showcase their products through simplified retail setups.
To enhance the family experience and enrich the interactive content of the season, a dedicated children’s area has been set up, featuring educational and recreational activities such as palm planting, coloring workshops, cooking experiences, and interactive heritage plays. Additionally, there are various entertainment shows, active participation from local producers, and food trucks offering traditional Saudi dishes, giving the season a festive and community-oriented atmosphere.
