It was announced in December 2025 and was scheduled for release in Japan around spring 2026, but the actual device has finally been unveiled!

ASUS JAPAN held a press conference for the ROG Rapture GT-BE19000AI for members of the media.
This product has garnered attention as the world’s first router equipped with an AI core.
Kosuke Hiraiwa, an esports caster at the forefront of the industry, took the stage at the announcement to share his impressions of using the device.

The ROG Rapture GT-BE19000AI is a Wi-Fi 7 router equipped with an AI core.
By running the high-speed communication system and the built-in AI processor system separately, AI functions can be used without sacrificing communication resources.
There are eight of the familiar antennas with independent amplifiers.
The design screams ROG and gaming router, but it is full of benefits such as reduced signal loss and improved heat dissipation compared to internal antennas.
The antennas are adjustable by 180 degrees in the XZ direction and 45 degrees in the YZ direction. Hiraiwa praised the performance, noting, “The speed didn’t even drop in the bathroom where the signal usually gets weak.”
