The Quezon City Government is stepping up its campaign to eliminate rabies, aligning with the global goal of zero human rabies deaths by 2030.
To make services faster and more accessible, the city has launched the QC Vet e-pet registration system via the QC eServices app. By simply going online, pet owners can now register pets, book vaccinations and services like consultations, deworming, microchipping, and spaying and neutering.
“Rabies is preventable. Every vaccinated pet protects a family and a community.”
In 2025 alone, health teams fully inoculated anti-rabies vaccines over 67,000 residents and more than 210,000 dogs and cats across 142 barangays, strengthening community protection.
Quezon City also convened the Rabies Summit 2026, uniting government, private sector, and civil society partners to strengthen coordination, improve response systems, and promote responsible pet ownership.
“We will keep working with our partners to protect both our residents and their pets.”
