As drilling activities for the secant pile or bore pile at the Bitung Underpass in Tangerang Regency continue, traffic on the main road connecting Tangerang and Serang is running smoothly.

Based on observations on Monday, April 20, 2026 at 1:08 PM, traffic in the project area was busy but flowing well.

The smooth traffic on the national road is due to the second phase of traffic engineering trials being conducted for 24 hours from April 20 to 22, 2026.

The traffic engineering scheme on this route maintains vehicle flow with two lanes in each direction, both towards Serang and Tangerang, to prevent congestion points.

Other measures implemented include lane shifts around the work area, road narrowing at certain points, limited contraflow to maintain smooth traffic flow, and diverting vehicles to widened lanes.

Previously, the first phase was carried out for three days, from April 17 to 19, 2026, with a contraflow system during peak hours from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

During this phase, vehicle flow also used two lanes in each direction. Passing vehicles were diverted through widened lanes around the project area.
