When asked what they would be happy to receive from their children, the most common response was “hearing ‘thank you’ and feeling gratitude.” The survey company Intage analyzed, “It seems parents are happier with small gestures rather than something special.” The average budget for Mother’s Day is 5,102 yen, and for Father’s Day it is 4,736 yen, maintaining the same level as last year despite ongoing high prices.
