BANDUNG – The Free Nutritious Meal program has come under the spotlight again. This time, the public is invited to get directly involved through a poll to assess whether the program is on target or still needs improvement.
Assessment of the effectiveness of the Free Nutritious Meal program now comes not only from the government or observers, but also directly from the public. A poll has been opened to measure to what extent the program is considered on target by the public.
The head of the Metropolitan Group Editorial Leadership Forum invited the public to actively express their opinions through the poll. According to him, public participation is key in overseeing policies so they run according to their goals.
“Please let the public have their say. Whether this Free Nutritious Meal program is on target or not. Public opinion is very important as evaluation material,” he said.
He emphasized that this poll is not just an ordinary survey, but part of an effort to encourage transparency and accountability of government programs.
By involving the public, it is hoped that a more objective picture of the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal program in the field will emerge.
According to him, criticism and input from the public can serve as a basis for the government to make improvements. “If there are those who feel it is not on target, that must be heard. From there, improvements can be made, both in data collection, distribution, and supervision,” he said.
He also hopes that more people will participate in the poll so that the results are more representative and can become a strong reference in policy evaluation.
The Metropolitan Group Editorial Leadership Forum consists of editorial leaders from media outlets in West Java, including Metropolitan, Radar Bandung, Metrobogor, Pojoksatu, Radar Depok, Radar Karawang, Radar Sukabumi, Radar Cianjur, and Radar Bekasi.
