Karachi: The Pakistan Navy has successfully tested an indigenously developed ship-launched anti-ship missile. This missile is capable of accurately hitting targets at extended ranges, the military stated.
The military’s media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), said in a statement on Thursday that the missile is equipped with a state-of-the-art guidance system and advanced maneuverability. This system enables it to “evade threats, adapt to changing conditions, and strike with precision.” The statement said, “The Pakistan Navy successfully tested an indigenously developed ship-launched anti-ship missile and accurately struck its target with high speed at long range.”

It stated that the successful launch of the locally developed missile “underscores the integration of technical excellence and operational expertise.” The Navy Chief witnessed the missile launch alongside key scientists and engineers. A previous test of this missile was conducted last November. The ISPR said this weapon system is capable of striking both sea and land-based targets with high precision.
