Kuwaiti media reported that the committee responsible for implementing UN Security Council resolutions issued under Chapter VII concerning counter-terrorism and preventing the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction has decided to add 8 Lebanese hospitals to the national list for all companies and financial institutions in Kuwait.
The committee lists, either on its own initiative or based on a request from a competent foreign or local authority, any person reasonably suspected of committing or attempting to commit a terrorist act, or participating in or facilitating a terrorist act.
The hospitals that have been listed are:
1. Sheikh Ragheb Harb University Hospital, Nabatieh.
2. Salah Ghandour Hospital, Bint Jbeil
3. Al-Amal Hospital, Baalbek
4. Saint George Hospital
5. Dar Al-Hikma Hospital, Baalbek
6. Al-Batoul Hospital, Hermel, Bekaa
7. Al-Shifa Hospital, Khaldeh
8. Al-Rasoul Al-Azam Hospital, Airport Road, Beirut
Freezing of Funds and Economic Resources
The committee requested the implementation of the listing decision in accordance with Articles (21, 22, 23) of the executive regulations pertaining to the committee, which include the freezing of funds and economic resources owned or controlled, directly or indirectly, wholly or partially, by the listed persons without delay and without prior notice.
Sheikh Ragheb Harb University Hospital
Sheikh Ragheb Harb University Hospital is a major medical center in southern Lebanon, named in honor of Sheikh Ragheb Harb, a prominent Shia cleric and resistance figure assassinated in 1984. It was established to serve the local community’s healthcare needs and stands as a symbol of social service and resilience in the region.
Salah Ghandour Hospital

Dar Al-Hikma Hospital
