Lenin Street
Lenin Street is a common name for central thoroughfares found in many cities across former Soviet republics and Eastern Bloc countries, originally named in honor of Vladimir Lenin, the founding leader of the Soviet Union. These streets were typically established or renamed during the Soviet era as symbols of state ideology and often remain major commercial and administrative hubs today. Following the dissolution of the USSR, some have been renamed, while others retain the name as a historical reference to the 20th-century period of Soviet influence.
