Hyderabad, The first Four Rice Premier League (FPL), organized by Four Rice Sports LLP, will be held across various grounds in the city starting from the upcoming 24th of January. According to the organizers, detailed information about the corporate cricket league along with the poster launch was unveiled today at the Tech Mahindra Auditorium in Hitech City.
96 corporate teams will participate in this league, involving over 1,400 players. The tournament will begin on the 24th of January. A total of 16 pools have been created for the league stage, with each pool containing 6 teams, who will get the chance to play five matches. 16 teams will qualify for the knockout stage.
The winning team of this tournament will receive a cash prize of two lakh rupees, and the runner-up team will receive one lakh rupees. The competition will be held at 8 grounds across the city. The final will be at the MSK Prasad Cricket Ground. The chief advisor for this competition will be former Test cricketer MSK Prasad.
Tech Mahindra Auditorium
