To the 13,000 Krasnodar residents—victims of fascist terror

The memorial *”To the 13,000 Krasnodar Residents—Victims of Fascist Terror”* commemorates the civilians executed by Nazi forces during their occupation of Krasnodar (1942–1943). It honors the thousands of men, women, and children who were killed in one of the many atrocities committed by German troops in the Soviet Union. The site serves as a somber reminder of the brutality of war and the resilience of the local community.

Eternal Flame

The **Eternal Flame** is a natural phenomenon where a flame burns continuously due to escaping natural gas from the earth’s crust. One famous example is the Eternal Flame Falls in Chestnut Ridge Park, New York, where a small flame flickers behind a waterfall, reignited if extinguished. Such flames have held cultural and spiritual significance for centuries, often symbolizing eternal life or divine presence in various traditions.
