In a residential building on Anapskoye Highway where a domestic gas explosion occurred, a local state of emergency has been declared. Three families consisting of seven people in need of support have been accommodated in the “Novorossiysk” hotel. Experts from Krasnodar are expected today to inspect the building for structural damage, safety risks, and potential restoration possibilities.

After the inspection is completed, door-to-door assessments will begin to evaluate damages and prepare compensation payments. Preliminary reports indicate 21 apartments were affected, with three sustaining serious damage.

Residents and property owners will receive financial assistance: one-time payments of 15,000 rubles per person, 75,000 rubles for partial loss of essential belongings, and 150,000 rubles for complete loss of such items.

Additional compensation includes 300,000 rubles for minor injuries, 600,000 rubles for moderate injuries, and 1,500,000 rubles for each family member who died in the incident.

Anapskoye Highway

The Anapskoye Highway is a major road in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai, connecting the city of Anapa with the surrounding regions. Historically, it has served as a vital transport route for trade and tourism, particularly for beachgoers heading to Anapa’s Black Sea coast. The highway also passes through areas rich in archaeological sites, reflecting the region’s ancient Greek and Scythian heritage.

Novorossiysk
