TANGSEL – The Advocacy and Legal Aid Institute for the Revival of Jawara and Lawyers (LBH Bang Japar) of South Tangerang City (Tangsel) reported a case of child molestation committed by a stepfather to the South Tangerang City Police Resort (Polres), Thursday (10/10).

However, when filing the report, the police requested that the victim’s family first conduct a medical examination at the South Tangerang City Regional General Hospital (RSUD).

It was explained that they had already met with the Women and Children Services Unit (PPA) of the South Tangerang Police.

“However, our report has not yet been formally accepted,” it was stated at the South Tangerang Police Headquarters in Serpong.

It was further added that the police recommended a medical examination first. However, the forensic specialist doctor would only be available on Friday morning.

“The police suggested a medical examination. But the forensic specialist at South Tangerang Hospital will only be available Friday morning,” it was clarified.

It was mentioned that the police had already contacted the hospital. “So on Friday, we will go to the hospital first. After receiving the medical results, we will report back to the South Tangerang Police,” it was emphasized.

TANGERANG – The opening of the 2019 Livoli Volleyball League Premier Division was attended by Tangerang Deputy Mayor Sachrudin. The event, organized by the Indonesian Volleyball Federation (PBVSI), took place at the Dimyati Sports Hall in Tangerang City on Sunday (13/10/2019).

Tangerang City, trusted as the host of the 2019 Livoli Premier Division, featured mixed-artist Didi Kempot to enliven the opening of the volleyball league, which would run for eight days from October 13–20, 2019.

This year’s Livoli was attended by eight men’s teams and seven women’s teams competing in the prestigious event, including clubs such as Bhayangkara Samator, Indomaret, TNI AU, Berlian Bank Jateng, Yoso Yogyakarta, DPUPR Grobogan Jateng, as well as promoted teams TNI AL and Singapore VC. The seven women’s teams included Bank Jatim, TNI AL, PGN Popsivo Polwan, TNI AU, JWS, and promoted teams Vita Solo and Kharisma.

In his speech at the event, Sachrudin expressed appreciation to the organizers for holding the Livoli competition in Tangerang City. He believed the event would warmly welcome participants from outside the region.

“I appreciate the organizers. It is an honor for Tangerang City to host the 2019 Livoli Premier Division competition,” he said during the event. “Welcome also to the athletes from other regions who will compete—good luck,” Sachrudin added.

He hoped the competition would bring out the best athletes and inspire volleyball enthusiasts in Tangerang City.

“May the athletes become a source of pride, not only for their respective regions but also for Indonesia,” he said. “And may this event motivate all of us, especially volleyball lovers in Tangerang City.”

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the PBVSI Tangerang City Branch, Ngadino, explained that PBVSI Tangerang continues to strive to develop volleyball clubs in the city to compete at the national level.

“We are continuously working to train volleyball clubs in Tangerang City to compete in national events,” he said.

“Last year, Tangerang City also won gold in the women’s category at Porprov. We seek support from relevant parties to hopefully achieve victory in future events,” Ngadino emphasized.
