Three suspects involved in the murder of a young woman, identified as AP, 22, whose handcuffed body was found in Cibogo Village, Cisauk, Tangerang Regency, have been arrested by the Metro Jaya Regional Police.

Among the three perpetrators, one is a minor. The suspects are identified as RRP, 19, the victim’s ex-boyfriend, IF, 19, and A, 17.

The motive for the murder was RRP’s resentment over being pressured to repay a debt by the victim. Additionally, the victim had posted a photo of her new boyfriend on social media.

The suspects had different roles in the crime. RRP masterminded the murder and prepared a knife, scissors, and a screwdriver to kill the victim.

Suspect A handcuffed the victim and stabbed her with a screwdriver, while IF stabbed her with scissors.

“Before being killed, the victim was also sexually assaulted by all three perpetrators,” the statement said.

The incident occurred at RRP’s house on Monday, July 7, 2025, located just 30 meters from where the victim’s body was later found.

The victim had visited her ex-boyfriend’s house to collect a debt of Rp1.1 million at around 11:30 PM.

When she failed to collect the debt, she was ambushed from behind, had her neck grabbed, and was thrown to the floor.

“RRP, IF, and A took the victim to the side of the house porch and took turns assaulting her while she was handcuffed,” the explanation continued.

After the assault, the perpetrators took the victim to an empty lot to kill her.

“The suspects strangled the victim with their hands, stabbed her neck twice with a knife, hit her face and chest with a stone, stole her phone and motorcycle, then fled to Tegal to escape,” the statement added.

The victim’s body was found three days later by local residents who noticed a foul odor on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 16, 2025. Upon inspection, the handcuffed woman’s body was already decomposing.

AP lived at Jalan Cendana 11, Suradita Housing Complex, Cisauk District, Tangerang Regency. She worked as a cashier at AEON Mall BSD.

Before being found dead, AP had told her family she was going to Ancol with friends. However, by nightfall, she could not be contacted, and a missing person report was filed at Cisauk Police Station.
