Following last year’s successful training activities, Sinergi Foundation has been appointed again as one of the organizers of Paradaya Movement Batch II for 2025.
This activity is a community empowerment program initiated by Sinergi Foundation together with Paragon Corp, a beauty product manufacturing and distribution company in Indonesia.
The Paradaya Movement organized by Sinergi Foundation offers various vocational training programs that are also connected to Sinergi Foundation’s masterpiece programs such as Firdaus Memorial Park (FMP), Sasaka Indonesia Bridge, Sinergi Community Service (SPM), and Fish Bank Indonesia.
Under the theme Rise – Move – Make a Difference, this training is attended by 118 people. These hundreds of participants were selected through a process that began in October 2025. This training offers six vocational fields that are highly needed in today’s world, including: (1) Food Safety Training, (2) Funeral Care Training, (3) Basic Welding & Occupational Health and Safety Training, (4) Community Development Training, (5) Barista Training, (6) Cake and Bakery Training.
- Food safety training, also known as Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP). This program provides HACCP competency certificates that meet the standards of the National Professional Certification Agency. This field plays an important role in all food processing industries. Graduates have great opportunities to work in food industry quality control (QC) and as food product processing specialists.
- Funeral Care Training, designed to equip funeral attendants with the ability to handle corpses according to religious teachings, while also having medical handling knowledge.
- Basic Welding & Occupational Health and Safety Training, designed for volunteers who contribute to bridge construction in 3T regions (underdeveloped, frontier, outermost). Participants gain skills related to basic welding techniques and in-depth understanding of work safety.
- Community Development Training, for social volunteers who want to develop their capacity in community empowerment and social equity. This training covers many aspects to become agents of social change in their communities, such as local potential, social dynamics, and participatory empowerment methods.
- Barista Training, designed to improve barista skills in serving and making coffee according to standards. The benefit of this training, besides having the potential to work in coffee shops, is the ability to start independent businesses.
- Culinary Arts (Bakery) Training, to produce competent graduates in making quality bread and cake products, skilled in using machines and other tools. Graduates have opportunities to work or open businesses in the culinary field.
The implementation of these six training fields is not only conducted in one location, but in various locations with different schedules. For example, Food Safety Training (HACCP) was organized by Fishbank Indonesia in Banyuwangi, East Java on November 15; Funeral Care Training and Community Development Training at the Sidomukti Waqf Building in Bandung; Welding and Occupational Health and Safety Training in Cikalong Wetan on November 1; while Bakery and Barista Training were held at Rumah Cintara Bandung on November 17.
The additional value of this training is that each participant will not only gain knowledge and networking, but also certificates and internship opportunities at leading business units. All these benefits can be obtained by participants free of charge (without any fees).
In line with this, a Project Officer for the HACCP field of Paradaya Movement stated that the training organized has many benefits for participants, especially related to obtaining competency certificates. The officer expressed that in today’s world, having a HACCP competency certificate will help participants (graduates) to be ready to compete in the job market.
“They will have greater value because many food processing companies require human resources with HACCP competency,” the officer explained in Banyuwangi.
Paradaya Movement: From Zakat Towards Economic Independence
