A former marketing director has filed a civil lawsuit worth IDR 5.9 billion against his former employer at the Surabaya District Court. The lawsuit is based on alleged administrative defects in the termination process.

The initial hearing with the agenda of preliminary evidence submission for court competency was held on Tuesday in Room Sari 1.

During the hearing, the panel of judges found that the legal representatives of PT BISI International Tbk had not properly uploaded evidence to the e-litigation system.

Due to this technical error, the panel of judges was forced to give the legal representatives of PT BISI International Tbk one final opportunity to upload evidence correctly. The hearing was then adjourned until next Tuesday. Court records show the panel of judges had to provide direct instructions to the defendant’s legal representatives on the correct method of uploading evidence to e-litigation – one document at a time.
