Bangalore Rain Update: India Meteorological Department forecasts heavy rain with thunderstorms in Bangalore over the next three days. There is also a possibility of hailstorm in several parts of the city. The IMD has issued a yellow alert for rain and thunderstorm warnings in the regions around Bangalore. Heavy rains have been recorded in several districts for agricultural and other interests, including in Bengaluru Rural, Bengaluru Urban, Ramanagara, and Chikkaballapura districts.
According to the forecast by the Indian Meteorological Department, heavy rains lashed Bangalore on Friday. As per the data, Bengaluru Urban experienced a maximum rainfall of 68.5 mm. In Bengaluru, various areas recorded intense downpours, with a maximum of 33.6 degrees and a minimum of 19 degrees Celsius temperatures being recorded. In rural areas, intense rains were also experienced. For Bangalore, Gurugram witnessed heavy rains, while Shukrawar was the wettest with heavy rainfall and Shivamogga and Raichur with heavy downpours as well.

Heavy downpour was recorded in the region of Belagavi with a maximum rainfall of 68.5 mm. In the prior statement, intense downpours were experienced in the districts of Belagavi, Dharwad, Mysuru, Chickballapur, and Hassan. Rainfall recorded was more than 30mm, with the maximum in Belagavi at 68.5mm. In the country, there was intense rainfall in various regions. In the government’s warning, rain forecast was recorded with a maximum of 33.6 degrees Celsius in Bengaluru city. Later the Kempe Gowda International Airport Hawaai Adda recorded a reading on 33.1 degrees Celsius.
