The Depok City Government is preparing a free tutoring program for 10,000 students who plan to continue their education to higher education institutions. The program will be conducted online and facilitated through an open tender for tutoring service providers, following a model similar to Ruangguru and similar platforms.
Depok Mayor, Supian Suri, stated that this program aims to improve access to education and prepare students for entrance exams to both public and private universities. This initiative is part of the city government’s commitment to supporting Depok’s younger generation.
On the same occasion, Supian also inaugurated 360 new government contract workers, consisting of 309 educators, 20 technical staff, and 11 healthcare workers, to strengthen public services in Depok City.
