“I highly appreciate the speeches, especially the very good and substantive presentations. The delegates who presented are practitioners who not only focus on theoretical papers but also have practical experience. This is also an innovation,” expressed one delegate.

Regarding personnel work, it was noted that the new Executive Committee has both continuity and development. It includes not only younger members but also experienced predecessors. With the current two-level management system, the leadership will be closer to and better understand the people.

Emphasizing the most important point, the ultimate goal and highest aim that the leadership must strive for is serving the People. Every decision, every reform effort is for the sole purpose of wishing for the People’s prosperity and happiness. “This is the guiding principle, the final measure of success for this term.”

There is particular expectation for the content in the documents, noting that this Congress is a very important event as the country has entered a new era.

“I see the documents have delivered a very clear and open message aimed at supporting private enterprises, especially production households in our craft villages. Creating opportunities for members to develop into small and medium enterprises – that’s what makes us very excited,” said one representative.

Expressing confidence in the next five-year term, it was affirmed that the Congress documents outline the city’s development strategy for the coming period. The implementation of these decisions will help the city enter a new era and develop continuously.

“We carry strong pride and confidence that the Capital Hanoi will not only ‘step steadily’ but will ‘run, will fly’ on the development path in the new era thanks to the important decisions of this Congress,” expressed another representative.

Expressing joy at the success of the City Party Congress, it was evaluated that the Congress success crystallizes the intelligence and will of the entire Party organization and Capital People; affirming the centralized and unified leadership of the City Party Committee Executive Board.

“The Congress success creates new momentum and confidence for each cadre, party member and People to strive together, promoting the spirit of unity, courage and creativity to successfully implement the Capital’s development goals in the new term,” emphasized one official.

There is confidence that the new term City Party Committee Standing Board and Executive Board will continue to promote the spirit of breakthrough, innovation, creativity, democracy, discipline, unity, responsibility, daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility for common interests; matching words with actions, serving the People. Simultaneously, it was stated that immediately after the Congress, the Party Committee will concretize the tasks and solutions outlined in the Resolution into five working programs for the entire term. Focusing on directing party committees, authorities, departments and affiliated organizations to build programs and plans to effectively organize the implementation of the Resolution of the 18th Hanoi City Party Congress to bring the resolution to life.
