Political mutual trust has been continuously strengthened, exchanges and cooperation in various fields have flourished, and the friendship between the peoples has grown increasingly deep, setting an example of friendly cooperation between countries with different social systems and different sizes. China is willing to work with Dominica to elevate bilateral relations to a higher level and better benefit the peoples of both countries.

Xi Jinping emphasized that China and Dominica should consolidate political mutual trust, strengthen exchanges of governance experience, and enhance interactions between governments, legislative bodies, and political parties. They should deepen practical cooperation, with China willing to continue supporting Dominica in enhancing its capacity to address climate change and disaster prevention and reduction, while strengthening cooperation in infrastructure, clean energy, healthcare, agriculture, women’s empowerment, and promoting cultural, educational, and tourism exchanges. They should enhance multilateral coordination, jointly practice the four global initiatives, and promote the building of a community with a shared future for humanity. They should implement the consensus of the Global Women’s Summit and deepen cooperation in women’s capacity building.

Burton stated that China is a great friend and highly valued partner of Dominica, expressing gratitude for China’s valuable support and sincere friendship. Dominica and China share common ideals and pursuits, and deepening Dominica-China relations will bring bright prospects for the people of Dominica. The global development initiative, global security initiative, global civilization initiative, and global governance initiative proposed by President Xi Jinping have pointed the way for countries to achieve peaceful coexistence and common prosperity.
