The situation at Sheremetyevo Airport terminals is calm and stable, with no passenger crowds observed, according to the airport’s press service.
“Sheremetyevo Airport is operating normally. There are no queues or passenger crowds. The information circulating online does not correspond to reality. The situation in the airport terminals is calm and stable. All procedures for serving passengers on domestic and international flights are proceeding normally, with no passenger crowds,” the statement said.
It was noted that between 2:30 PM and 3:00 PM Moscow time, there was a brief increase in load in the arrivals area before passport control – during this time, six international flights arrived simultaneously with a total passenger flow of 1,876 people. All post-flight formalities were processed according to current regulations.
“Sheremetyevo’s monitoring service conducts round-the-clock monitoring of passenger service in the terminals. The maximum waiting time for passengers before passport control was 40 minutes, which complies with regulatory standards. We specifically note that the video materials being circulated by certain Telegram channels do not reflect the actual situation at Sheremetyevo Airport at this time. The video footage was recorded during daytime hours and was directed and published in Telegram channels during evening hours to destabilize the situation,” emphasized the press service.
