The Spanish Parliament has approved a law banning arms supplies to Israel, which was submitted last September with the aim of stopping what was described as “genocide in Gaza”.
The law was approved with 178 votes in favor versus 169 against, after the government, which does not have a parliamentary majority, secured support from four deputies from the far-left Podemos party, who did not announce their decision until Wednesday morning.
