The Ministry of Manpower has asked workers who have not yet received the Wage Subsidy Assistance (BSU) of Rp600,000 to remain patient.
The disbursement process is still ongoing, and it is confirmed that all verified recipients will receive the aid soon.
As previously announced, the government’s assistance program began disbursing funds in early June 2025 and is scheduled to continue until July 2025. However, some workers who passed verification claim they have not yet received the promised aid.
In response to these complaints, the Ministry’s spokesperson explained that the disbursement experienced delays due to data matching and validation processes for recipients.
Nevertheless, all procedures have now been completed, and the assistance is ready to be distributed again.
“The BSU will be disbursed shortly. We ask workers to remain patient, as this is part of the government’s support for workers,” the spokesperson stated in Jakarta on Thursday, July 10, 2025.
The BSU program targets 17.3 million recipients, including workers, laborers, and contract teachers.
Each recipient receives Rp300,000 per month for two months (June and July 2025), totaling Rp600,000 per person in a single disbursement.
The program is coordinated by the Ministry of Economic Affairs. Worker and laborer recipient data is sourced from the Employment Social Security Administration (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan) and consolidated with the Ministry of Manpower. Meanwhile, contract teacher data is collected and verified by the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education.
