Trailer Crashes into Temple After Hitting Rickshaw; Three Suspects in Custody

A horrific incident occurred in the Udhna area’s Kharvarnagar neighborhood on Sunday morning when a drunk trailer driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed through the wall of Rokadiya Hanuman Temple, entering inside. The front portion of the temple was completely damaged in the incident, although the main idol of Hanumanji remained safe, preventing a major tragedy.

According to eyewitnesses, the trailer driver first hit a rickshaw and then directly collided with the temple wall. Hearing the sound of the collision, nearby people rushed to the spot and caught all three people in the trailer, handing them over to police.

Initial police investigation has confirmed that the driver was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol, which caused this incident. Alcohol bottles were also recovered from the trailer.

Upon receiving information, local councilors, leaders and police officers reached the incident site and assessed the situation. Police have seized the trailer and registered a case against all three accused for driving under influence, damaging public property, and reckless driving.

Currently, police are working to determine from which direction the trailer was coming, what its speed was, and why the driver lost control of the vehicle before the accident.

Local citizens have demanded that the administration impose restrictions on entry of large vehicles in this area to prevent such incidents in the future.
