Over 600 Plants Planted with Participation of More Than 200 Environmental Enthusiasts
With the objective of environmental protection and increasing awareness about greenery, 600 plants were planted on Sunday morning at the Bhatar Old Garbage Dumping Site. This program was organized under the joint auspices of Surat District Maheshwari Sabha, BhagyaDrashta Astro Vastu Pvt. Ltd., Surat Maharashtra Maheshwari Family, Preksha Seva Foundation, SVNM Trust, The Happy Family Foundation, and Sai Ashish Society.
More than 200 women, children, and citizens participated in the plantation drive. Several distinguished personalities were present at the event.
Surat Forest Foundation provided complete arrangements and technical support for the plantation under the Urban Forest Initiative. All participants collectively pledged to create a clean, green, and life-giving Surat. The program’s message was – “One plant, one step, millions of hopes. Every planted tree is the foundation for clean air and healthy life for future generations.”
