TANGERANG – As part of the Tangerang City Government’s commitment to providing social protection guarantees for the community, the Tangerang City Government together with the Social Security Administration for Employment (BPJSTK) Cikokol, has distributed Death Benefit Compensation (JKM) to five beneficiaries, consisting of Quran teachers and neighborhood officials.

JKM compensation of Rp42 million per recipient was symbolically presented to heirs and beneficiary representatives by the Mayor of Tangerang. The handover took place during the routine Koran recitation event of the Contact Agency for Taklim Assemblies (BKMT) at the Tangerang District Hall.

“This is a tangible form of the city government’s commitment to providing a sense of security and comfort for the people of Tangerang City in carrying out their activities and work,” said the Mayor.

To date, the Tangerang City Government together with BPJSTK has distributed JKM compensation totaling more than Rp800 billion.

“This is proof of collaboration and synergy between institutions. The government is present not only for beneficiaries, but also for their families and heirs. With this protection, the community can work and earn a living peacefully,” stated the Mayor.

In addition to JKM, the Mayor also handed over Work Accident Insurance (JKK) compensation of Rp 46,098,236 to a government employee in Tangerang District who experienced an accident while performing his duties.

“All members of the community, especially employees who work to serve citizens, must receive attention and protection guarantees. This is part of our responsibility as a government,” emphasized the Mayor.
