Lockdown at the scene as investigation into gold shop robbery in Da Nang begins.
On the evening of August 26, authorities were still blocking the scene of a suspected gold and jewelry store robbery that occurred on Nui Thanh Street (Hoa Cuong Ward, Da Nang).
It was observed that a large crowd of people had gathered to follow the robbery of gold and jewelry at a store belonging to a major gold brand located at 455 Nui Thanh Street (Da Nang).
Specialized units of the Da Nang Police are urgently conducting a scene examination and deploying measures to apprehend the suspect.
Immediately after the incident occurred, leadership of the Da Nang Police were present at the scene to directly direct the investigation efforts.
Outside on the street, functional forces were actively regulating and diverting traffic through this area.
Some eyewitnesses reported that around 8:00 PM on the same day, a robbery occurred at the aforementioned jewelry store. At that time, an individual wearing a Grab jacket and a helmet covering their face attacked with a weapon, injuring the security guard.
Some people shouted “robbery” and used sticks to block the front of the jewelry store. The robber, after stuffing the property into a backpack, pushed the door open and escaped outside…
The robber entered a gold store on Vo Van Van Street (Tan Vinh Loc Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) asking to buy a gold ring, then snatched the ring and ran away. A female employee chased after him, managed to grab his collar, but was dragged along the road, resulting in abrasions.
