Bank Seizes Series of VinFast Cars from Mai Linh Taxi
Nam A Bank has announced it will proceed with the seizure and disposal of collateral assets from Mai Linh Lao Cai Company Limited to handle overdue debts in accordance with the law.
The seized assets are a series of 5-seat VF5 Plus cars, owned by Mai Linh Lao Cai Company Limited and used as collateral for a loan at the bank. The company was found to have not fully fulfilled its debt repayment obligations as committed.
Nam A Bank stated that the seizure is expected to take place on May 6 at the location of the collateral assets. After completion, these cars will be processed and auctioned according to regulations.
Mai Linh Lao Cai Company Limited is headquartered at 129 Phu Thinh Street, Cam Duong Ward, Lao Cai Province, and operates in the taxi transportation sector. This enterprise is 51% owned by Mai Linh Group.
Major Real Estate Company in Ho Chi Minh City Fined
The State Securities Commission has issued a decision to administratively sanction Dia Oc 11 Joint Stock Company for violations in the securities sector.
Accordingly, the company was fined 55 million VND for failing to disclose information on time regarding its 2024 annual report.
Dia Oc 11 was also fined 112.5 million VND for failing to ensure the structure and number of independent board members.
On its website, Dia Oc 11 is introduced as a member unit of Saigon Real Estate General Corporation, implementing many large-scale projects such as Tue Tinh, Trinh Thai Binh, Ly Thuong Kiet apartments, 336/24 Nguyen Van Luong, a high-rise apartment project in An Phu ward, 109 Nguyen Bieu apartment, Phu My residential area, etc.
PC1 Warned by HOSE for Delayed Disclosure
The Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE) has issued a reminder to PC1 Group Joint Stock Company (PC1) for delaying the disclosure of information related to the resolution and minutes of the 2026 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM).
According to HOSE, on March 31, it received a notice from PC1 about holding the annual AGM on April 22. In fact, the meeting was held by the company on that same day.
However, according to current regulations, public companies must disclose extraordinary information within 24 hours from the time the AGM resolution is approved. Additionally, from January 1, 2025, information disclosure must be done in both Vietnamese and English.
Nevertheless, HOSE stated that it has still not received the minutes and resolution of the 2026 annual AGM from PC1. Given this situation, the regulatory body has requested the company to strictly comply with information disclosure regulations to ensure the rights and interests of shareholders.
