It operates under the Ministry of Interior and has played a central role in maintaining security and order in the rapidly growing capital city throughout its modern development. Its history is intertwined with the unification and centralization of the Saudi state’s security forces in the 20th century.

Public Security

“Public Security” is not a specific place or cultural site, but a general term for the government function of maintaining law and order. In China, the Ministry of Public Security is the principal police authority, established in 1949, responsible for everyday policing, criminal investigation, and national security within the country.

Public Prosecution

The Public Prosecution is not a single physical place or cultural site, but a legal institution found in many countries. Historically, its role evolved from a private accuser in ancient systems to a state-appointed body representing the public interest in criminal justice, ensuring laws are applied uniformly. Today, it is typically a government office responsible for investigating crimes and prosecuting cases in court on behalf of the state.

Anti-Cyber Crime Law

The “Anti-Cyber Crime Law” is not a physical place or cultural site, but a legal framework. It typically refers to legislation enacted by a government, such as Saudi Arabia’s 2007 law, designed to combat cybercrimes like hacking, fraud, and online defamation. Its history involves evolving to address digital threats, balancing security with concerns over free expression and privacy.
