The Infrastructure Projects Center in the Riyadh region conducted a broad inspection campaign during May 2026, covering more than 31,000 visits to infrastructure project sites in Riyadh city and its governorates, aimed at improving execution quality and enhancing safety and compliance levels.

More than 19,000 reports related to infrastructure works

The visits resulted in recording more than 4,000 violations, while the center received over 19,000 reports related to infrastructure works during the same period. These were addressed in coordination with relevant authorities to ensure rapid and effective handling of field observations.

The recorded violations varied between non-compliance with the project signboard, poor cleanliness at work sites, storing materials and equipment outside the permit scope, non-compliance with specifications for identification logos on temporary barriers, in addition to the absence of required warning lighting according to approved standards.

These efforts come within an integrated inspection system led by the center to raise the level of compliance with the infrastructure projects code, improve execution quality, and enhance safety, reflecting positively on improving the urban landscape and quality of life in the Riyadh region.
