The National Meteorological Center announced the expected weather conditions for Saturday in the Kingdom, warning of continued thunderstorms in parts of 8 regions.
According to the meteorological statement, moderate to heavy thunderstorms are expected to continue, leading to flash floods accompanied by hail showers and active winds raising dust and sand over parts of the Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions, with a chance of fog formation over parts of the highlands in those areas.
Meanwhile, the chance remains for light thunderstorms accompanied by active winds over parts of the Hail, Al-Madinah, and Najran regions, as well as the southern parts of the Eastern Region.
Red Sea
- Surface Winds: Northwesterly to northerly at 20-40 km/h, reaching 55 km/h in the central part, along with the formation of rainy thunderclouds over the southern part.
- Wave Height: From half a meter to one and a half meters, reaching two and a half meters in the central part, along with the formation of rainy thunderclouds over the southern part.
- Sea State: Slight to moderate waves, becoming rough in the central part, along with the formation of rainy thunderclouds over the southern part.
Arabian Gulf
- Surface Winds: Northwesterly to northerly at 15-30 km/h.
- Wave Height: From half a meter to one meter.
- Sea State: Slight waves.
