Police have identified a 19-year-old youth who was stabbed to death in a parking lot and arrested five individuals suspected of involvement in the incident.
This follows an earlier announcement by Cambridge police charging a 21-year-old with murder and possession of a bladed weapon after he fatally stabbed a Saudi student in Cambridge. Authorities described the incident as “unprovoked.”

Greater Manchester Police reported that the Muslim youth, Mohammed Afzal, died following an attack on Market Street in Bury around 9 p.m. British Summer Time on Friday.
Police stated that five men, all aged 19, were arrested in connection with the attack, with one suspect released on bail.
One suspect was apprehended at Manchester Airport early Sunday morning, while two others were arrested in Bury and Bolton on Saturday. Two additional suspects were detained earlier.
Afzal, known among loved ones as Issa, succumbed to stab wounds sustained at the scene.
A police spokesperson confirmed that his family is receiving support from specialist officers.
Inspector John Charlton stated, “Officers have worked tirelessly over the past few days, resulting in the arrest of five individuals suspected of murder.”
