On Tuesday, China accused US President Donald Trump of “pouring oil on the fire” in the escalating conflict between Israel and Iran, after he called on the residents of the Iranian capital to “immediately evacuate Tehran.”
The spokesperson stated at a press conference in response to a question about Trump’s statement that “fanning the flames and pouring oil, issuing threats, and increasing pressure will not help calm the situation, but will escalate and broaden the conflict.”
